Using the precision engineered Surefix drill bit, drill holes at the required height every 600mm. Press in the supplied nylon plug, then using the Surefix Setting Tool in your drill or driver, screw in the Surefix Spike.
Using our custom made drill bit means the exact drill depth is achieved every time. The depth stop means the back of the brick is never blown, preventing debris falling into the cavity. It drills the perfect size hole for the masonry plug to work to its full potential which ensures the Surefix bracket is solidly secured in place and will not come loose over time.
The Surefix Setting Tool is designed to work seamlessly with your drill or driver to quickly and consistently screw in the Surefix Spike. Simply attach to your drill, engage with the spike, and drive it home — no guesswork, no stripped heads, just a perfect install every 600mm spacing along the roofline.
